Tip #1: Change diapers more often. Unfortunately with the cost of diapers this isn’t always the cheapest option available.
Tip #2: Let your child run around naked for a while each day. While a very effective method, it can get messy very fast! I’ve had several accidents while using this method.
Tip #3: Are they having diarrhea? Have they been eating any new acidic foods? This can cause some bad diaper rash. Treat the rash with diaper cream and check their diet.
Tip #4: Has the rash lasted a long time with small red bumps everywhere? If so it might be a fungal rash that won’t go away with normal cream. Your pediatrician can prescribe an antifungal medication or you can purchase one at the pharmacy called Triple Paste AF (antifungal).
