Amazon Mom is open again to new members. They have a 3 month free trial that you can sign up for. For a long term membership you have to sign up for Amazon Prime. This costs $79 per year and nets you the 20% discount on diapers and wipes, access to a growing streaming video library, and free two day shipping on just about everything. If you use Amazon for a lot of your shopping, this membership can easily pay for itself. As I’ve posted a lot about before, Amazon has some of the best prices on just about every brand of diapers. If you’re looking for the cheapest place to buy your diapers and get them quickly, Amazon is what you are looking for.

Diapers.com already has some pretty good deals on diapers regularly. From March 5th to 15th they are having a special semi-annual sale with increased savings on diapers and other baby products. This includes the usual free shipping on orders over $49. If you find a really good deal it is usually a good idea to buy a bunch of those diapers anyway so you can usually hit the free shipping threshold.

If you really like Pampers diapers you should seriously consider signing up for their Gifts To Grow program here. You enter codes that are on each pack of Pampers and you can earn rewards. It applies to both Pampers diapers and wipes packages that you purchase.

Diapers.com has a sale/clearance section where you can find some pretty good deals. It is good to check it out every once in a while.

I was looking for diaper deals this week and could not find any better deals than what Amazon is offering. For example CVS had Pampers for almost 22 cents on sale (for size 2) while the Rite Aid Weekly Circular had a sale on generic diapers for 27 cents. This is just a reminder that a sale is not always a good deal. Make sure to always check the price per diaper and check it against my chart to see if it is actually a good deal. Once again I update the chart monthly so you always have a good baseline to check your diaper deals against.

Below is an email that was sent to current Amazon Mom members detailing the changes that are going into effect in 2012. The couple of things to take away from this are…

• Amazon Mom will be re-opening in 2012 sometime.

Target.com has had a deal going for a while where if you buy $50 worth of stuff online, they will give you free shipping. With a couple of jumbo diaper packs you can get there quickly. Target brand diapers are a very good deal if you like them! They compare pretty well to the cost of Luvs on Amazon if you can get the free shipping.
